Profile of Convener:  Anil Chamadia a noted journalist and columnist who is published by many national dailies, magazines and journals all across the country. He writes on host of issues concerning society, economy, polity and media and is known for his sharp analysis, commentary and insight and has a large following of readers.  He has left a deep impact with his interactive and modern approach in media studies as professor in mass communication department in Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidayalaya (a central university) Wardha.  To give much required exposure to rural India to the budding journalists he organised a class study tour on NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act ) in many villages of Maharashtra .The findings of this tour had  drawn the media attention and got published in many places.

Mr Chamadia has also been associated with Indian Institute for Mass Communications (IIMC), New Delhi, for three years as a faculty. He visits many Universities and colleges as a guest faculty for mass communications including that of Delhi University.  With over 25 years as a media professional Mr Chamadia worked in reputed media organizations both in print and broadcast. A voracious reader Anil Chamadia is a regular feature in Delhi’s intellectual circuit and an outstanding orator on host of issues. He lives in Delhi with his wife and daughter and leads a simple life.
